Transport for London

19th of Dec, 2006ce* in: dadako, pixelart

Well, they have finally launched the TfL (schools) website! It’s been a long time coming, over a year infact. I was first contracted to work on the project late 2005, and I put in about 4 months on and off, until very recently. Sadly enough most of the people I was working on the project with have gone on to other jobs, as is the norm when working in London.

Glad to see it up and running, let me know what you think using the comments button below!

Very nice! Good to see you used yourself as the person demonstrating the transport system.

You forgot to draw the hundreds of people pushing each over to get through doors first :)

The instructions for the environmental game are missing by the way.

Hello there, i was wondering about your blog. How do you get the image above the title, i was reading a post on the wp forum from you, but i dont get it with the plugin that was linked to :/

hawken, Thursday, December 21, 2006, 13:53

Hiya Caroline, I use this plugin: http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/30/plugin-get-custom/ works a treat, just install it and write a custom tag based on your meta data input. Place the tag above your title tag in the loop.

if you have any other questions feel free to mail me, I can’t find that thread on the WP forum!

Hey Hawken, I thought you should be aware that they have changed the URL to access this portion of the site:
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/corporate/projectsandschemes/communityandeducation/safetyandcitizenship/transport-school.asp

It was a pleasure working on this with you.

Oh, the link surrounding the image seems to have an extraneous quotation mark…

what a difference video makes to your portfolio... - DesignersTalk, Friday, January 18, 2008, 18:29

[...] what a difference video makes to your portfolio… After finding some screen cap software for free (admittedly not the fastest) I’ve started converting my portfolio into videos of my websites instead of the normal static images. dadako.com > Transport for London dadako.com > Ottoblog dadako.com > Salon Boutique Autumn 2007 dadako.com > The Plant relaunch http://www.dadako.com/nec-cinema this is particularly handy for projects that have disappeared from the face of the earth and I wish I had done this many years ago. __________________ ere, wosson?
