Had a nice time on a train that goes up a mountain, only to find the cable car which we were meant to change onto was out of action, due to the typhoon.
We made do with our immediate surroundings and enjoyed walking in the woods and taking a weird train that was angled at around 35 degrees.
Time to get a hotel, wow! they are all out of season, big rooms = low price! lucky us. We tried two large hotels which were in western style, half way up a mountain this was welcomed. One smelt like a dentists the other smelt like a school trip. We also tried a traditional style Japanese hotel, where the staff didn’t smile or welcome us, the boss asked us how much we wanted to pay and there were geisha girls sitting about the place… then it dawned on my girlfriend. This was a business mans paradise, girls on tap. We made our exit quickly (although I didn’t mind too much).
We went to the dentist smelling hotel and had a nice sleep of nightmares.
As we use e-mail more than SMS here in Japan, I have a look at what could be changed for the Japanese device, by means of a software update. This is basically my wish list for this already amazing device. Practically all of the wished for features listed are apparent on a normal everyday Japanese phone.
This July, I've spent every weekend at the beach. Mostly to get stung to buggery by jellyfish.
This month, Web design note profile me and my work on; Pantone, Transport for London and Salon Boutique.
