Friday evening in Harajuku is rather nice, this damn area is so cosmopolitan (sic), parts look like Italy, France, Holland… this is not japan :)
Finally met up with Kiyo again, gosh I havent seen her for almost 4 months. We went to a Jamaican rasta bar (full of Japanese of course) and then on to an Italian/french place (it didnt know what it was) for some wine. Spent most of the night looking for contact lenses and trying to find my way back home.
It was my goodbyes to WCRS today, as I boarded my ANA flight 202 to Tokyo to start my new life. Things were a little hard as I dint want o leave those nice people at WCRS - all of them such nice guys. But maybe this will make them realise; coders are not easy to come by :P
After running around like a chicken with its head on fire, I was able to make my flight. Its was an easy journey and already - I am in japan running on what is essentially the same day. The company I will be working for (when the papers come through) is called furifuri (means like happy happy). I’ve been hanging out with the guys already and my Japanese is slowly coming back. Wish me luck over these next few days (sleeping on floors, living out of bags, eating convi` junk).
My, how things change. Today I went to see some old school friends and their son, ben.
Such an amazing kid, hes just a bit younger than 1.
Hope everything works out for the best!
Today I also phoned an old old old girl friend, my first ever serious one from whey back when.
She didnt live at home anymore but I had a chat with her mother, this old old old girl friend from whey back when is getting married in July! Well, I hope the guy is evil and I hope they get divorced soon, I mean, its only fair.
CORNWALL, they’re welcome to it!
Decided to jump on a train and head down to Cornwall for the weekend.
Went out to the Pirate in Falmouth, saw some ace breakdancing.

I don’t know how today will turn out but the company I work for (WCRS LONDON) is having a half day, the building is being closed down at one o’clock or thereabouts. Its hard for companies like WCRS as it is an advertising agency… a prime target for any anti-capitalist who is ‘pro-active’, meaning they take action in the form of destruction.
I personally am against capitalism and would love to see the day when MacDonalds, Starbucks, Nestle, Coka Cola and Disney go out of action… but I would also like to persuade people that the ‘May 1st London Riot’ as it is being called is just that, a few hundred people in every few thousand just want destruction - and to destroy. This is not a good way to prove your point, infact it just de-faces the whole campaign.
And on another note (as if having Tuesday afternoon disturbed wasnt enough) Theres a tube and Train strike again on Thursday… hopefully I can get in on the bus! If not I loose 8 hours of wages. NICE.

long train journey back to London with a suitcase and a packpak. I moved all my stuff into storage at my sisters house so I can be quite free in the coming weeks/months. I sat listening to my minidisk in first class around a table of people talking about Cornwall… they didnt seem to have a very high view of London, seemed they were like me and wanted to stay in Cornwall - Only I was the non-emit around this table, the rest were down for the Easter holidays.
Damit its hard being in London again, I’m staying with my friend in a very very nice area of west London, which kinda makes up for London being so shit!

still not recovering from my previous days non-fun I took a little trip to see some old school buddies in Lostwithiel. Ben-and-his-van was a funny experience but I cant really talk about it here from fear of being taken to court… let me say - I’ve never seen such a funny thing and the outcome of it all was a new tax disk, confused again? well, thats the Cornish way.
I’m glad everyone seems to be happy, and all of my friends seem to be doing something or seem to be looking out to the future and not looking in to stay in shitey Cornwall forever.
Drank at the Earl of Chatam for a long time, I’m sure it was past time and we were still getting pints - a round of 5 pints was about 10 pounds! Amazing!

hmm, Friday. Friday the 13th. This is being written after the proceedings.
I was down the local pub (o’calahans - or ‘old clammy hands’ to those in the know) with my good friend and old boss Gary. we had a few and talked over architecture and all the things that go with it. Then as I was walking out of the pub I spotted one of my old school friends (not a hard thing to do in Cornwall) and we went back to the Pub together… then decided that a jaunt out to the local nightclub ‘gossips’ that night would be an ace idea!
Ahem, hardly.
I didnt really enjoy myself that much in the meat market called gossips, and the person I went with disappeared so I was left to my own devices, it wasnt hard to find persons I knew - only its a bit shit meeting people that way sometimes.
A very drunk 2am later and was outside talking to different people trying to share a taxi home the 2 or so miles back to St.Austell - no success, so I walked it.
Theres only one person on this earth that will understand me when I use the word ‘cokkananola’ but I met two oddbods on the walk home and we went back to their summer house for more party. The next day was hell! (confusion? yes.)
Lazed about for a while and then some time in the late afternoon myself and my sisters boyfriend Tom went to the Eden project to collect my sister from work.
The Eden project, if you didnt already know, is a huge collection of greenhouse biomes set in an unused claypit near St.Austell and Par, the project is interesting and the website would give anyone more insight than I can provide: Eden project images
Its a big shame that only a few of the huge work force at Eden have interesting jobs though, and the wages are very low - even by Cornish standards!
