Went up to London for the afternoon, had some free time so I thought I’d take a look at David Blane in his box. Very entertaining indeed! He even waved at me… or it might have been the large chasted beauty behind me, I honestly don’t know.
To make matters worse for him, there’s a hot dog stand under his suspended glass box! (for those not in the know, David Blane is spending 44 days in a suspended glass box near Tower Bridge, with no food)
He looked happy.

got my K|i|S|S dvd player! (finally…)
I bought it from scan.co.uk, although I won’t link their site because they are shit, the first on they sent me was broken and I had to wait two weeks for a replacement.
But IT FUCKING ROCKS!
Specs, for the inner geek;
dual scan
multiregion
plays every format, including DivX!!
Ethernet port for network streaming
Internet radio
4mb firmware scratch mem
200mhz processor
I tried it out with a few movies I downloaded from the internet in Mpeg, Avi and Vcd formats, played them all wonderfully.

Hasbro came to Babel looking for some translations and came away with an excelent walk through guide with original illustrations, animations and all in 12 languages to boot. Sadly this wonderfull site didn’t ever go live, because Hasbro pulled the plug at the last minute after a corporate restructuring.
We still got paid though, which was nice!
check out the archive below for some animation fun.

“Think Pink” would have been an innovative title for this glitzy yet seemingly droll and probably mind numbingly boring game. Here I made the cut down version of the American website in various European languages, tricky work because of the differing lengths of (German) words.

This is probably the longest in-production game for iTV that exists, released just in time for the Olympics by a company other than the one we started doing it for. The problem stemmed from no one really knowing what they wanted, but the art department only having a fixed amount of budget to complete said unknown graphics, which we did until our particular budget ran out. From then on I’m not sure what happened to it… while it hung in limbo we and the client haemorrhaged cash, leading to the closure of the department.
drove up to Edge 10th birthday party. A pretty empty affair, although I did meet someone who I have admired for a long time; Gazz Top!!
He was going out with “Violet Berlin” another TV presenter and very very grumpy, snooty and otherwise not someone you’d enjoy talking to, so I didn’t.
The other guy in the photo was the editor of Edge magazine, but I think he left the magazine…
This month, Web design note profile me and my work on; Pantone, Transport for London and Salon Boutique.
Now that the iPhone is finally hitting Japan, and I've finally upgraded to Leopard, I'm looking for a pro-active programmer to work with me on game development
