Above showing the sprite sheet for an animation I made.
The animation can be launched by clicking here
The text is missing from this movie as it was put in later (in japanese). One of my better pixel animations.

Met up with Dave, sayuki and her pal at Sagami Ono. We were all kitted out in Japanese clothing as we were going to Atami that evening, to watch the fire works (hanabi).
Many Japanese women wear the traditional Kimono looking Yukata (a light summer version of the Kimono), less but some men also wear this, in sleek blue or black designs. The womens designs are usually colourful detailed with birds or flowers in silhouette.
A large population of the tractional Japanese clothing for men sticks with Jinbe though, which is what I was wearing, we were out shopping for one, for Dave!
It took us a few hours to get to Atami (which is a sharply descending seaside town), where we bought enough beer to last the evening and headed off to the beach! Our main reason for doing this is that its pretty much the end of summer now, last chance to wear our Japanese clothing.
Dave ran into the sea, when we were drunk and had our fill of fireworks, which were staggering. He soaked his dragon motif Jinbe down to the bone, funny, in a ridiculous way!
Habitual Karaoke ensued, with my epic take me down to paradise city taking the finale.

Yesterdays argument has gone full scale. So I ran out to buy a new phone/get my Gaijin residency card. Needless to say, I didn’t go back the office and spent some time talking over with my girlfriend the nature of the client problem at work.

Back to work after my neat little holiday, damn!
Went out for a meal with furifuri, to welcome a new member called katsura. We got a little merry and ate some nice food, I’ve placed the images of this feast in the photos section.
Started a new argument about the type of work we are doing, its a pretty sour argument, which I hope no-one finds out the content/client! Anyways, its pretty serious.

I can’t quite remember what I’ve been doing over these past few days, I’m sure its been interesting to a degree but I imagine not enough to really lodge a thought in this cranium of mine.
Today I did have a blast on the karaoke though, went to Ordaiba (the fake Japanese island), with a few side effects I imagined the night went ok. But pissing your girlfriend off is not such a great idea, but both persons can be wrong at the same time… can’t they?
Met some whacked out Australian tourists in a deserted nightclub with matey Dave.W.
Loudness ensued and we went on to get absinthe. The Australians had never touched a drop (as its illegal in oz), my local bar agreed to serve me all the ingredients and must have thought me mad… buring sugar on their bar indeed! They approached the spectacle like weary animals inspecting a fire.
Much fun to be had, and I ended up carrying the paraletic oz guys home, as after a few rounds of absinthe - they wernt exactly set for the night.

My panel for a project called freshRMX. The theme of the project was “my home, my country” and was essentially open to interpretation. I decided to illustrate my journey from Cornwall in the UK (bottom) with various Cornish emblems, to life in Japan (top).
The final product was shown in an exhibition.
Had a quick burn on my BMX
Took Dave on a cheap blind date, although we all had fun, I think nothing clicked for him and the girl.
Next!
Went to buy a BMX!
I was with Okayama-san, wearing Yukatta, and me in a Jinbe. Which is sort of like wearing your pajamas down to the shops, just no-one really notices. A few heads were turned when I started riding through the middle of Shibuya district on my BMX wearing my pajamas though!
After taking my BMX home, and putting it to bed, I headed back to Shibuya for a grand departure to a fireworks display in Edo Gawa-ku (riverside).Oh My was there a lot of people!
It was like a festival!
Met up randomly outside MacDonalds with Dave, which was the most fucking odd thing to happen all week, considering about a trillion people were attending this.
We drank a few brewskies. While I sat in my pajamas.
This month, Web design note profile me and my work on; Pantone, Transport for London and Salon Boutique.
Now that the iPhone is finally hitting Japan, and I've finally upgraded to Leopard, I'm looking for a pro-active programmer to work with me on game development
one approached us to handle their Japanese localisation and filming / press.
